Short Stories

We are looking for fictional stories under 1,500 words. These stories should be complete in themselves – basically, we want a whole story, not just a chapter of something longer! Bring us unique stories that capture our imaginations and emotions. Transport us to a new world; introduce us to special characters; take us on a journey through what inspires you. Nearly every genre within fiction is welcome – fantasy, drama, historical fiction, romance, stories for children, and science fiction – we do not, however, publish horror, crude language, or overtly sexual themes.

You can submit your work through email address at the bottom of this page. Please make sure that your story is under 1,500 words, and it should be formatted as either a Microsoft Word document or a PDF. Include a cover page with your name, age, and a brief, third-person biography that we will publish along with your work if it is selected.

Poetry

We are accepting poems of any form – free verse pieces, sonnets, villanelles, haikus, golden shovels, etc. – we want it all! Poetry should be evocative, captivating, moving, and inspiring. It is the most concise and intentional way to convey emotion, so we want writing that makes us feel deeply!

You can submit your work through the email address at the bottom of this page. You can submit up to 3 poems (one per page), and it should be formatted as either a Microsoft Word document or a PDF. Include a cover page with your name, age, and a brief, third-person biography that we will publish along with your work if it is selected.

Essays/Creative Nonfiction

Do you have a real event that you want to share with the world? Creative Nonfiction is a true story, well-told. We are interested in essays and nonfiction writings under 1,500 words that are interesting, engaging, and unique. Your true story can be about nearly anything; we do not, however, publish horror, crude language, or overtly sexual themes.

You can submit your work through email address at the bottom of this page. Please make sure that your piece is under 1,500 words, and it should be formatted as either a Microsoft Word document or a PDF. Include a cover page with your name, age, and a brief, third-person biography that we will publish along with your work if it is selected.

Photography/Artwork

We want to see unique photographs and digital copies of unique art of any medium – paintings, sculptures, digital art, etc. We want to know what catches your eye and inspires your soul!

You can submit your work through email address at the bottom of this page. You can submit up to 3 photos and/or digital copies of your art, and they should be formatted as a JPG or PDF. Include a cover page with your name, age, and a brief, third-person biography that we will publish along with your work if it is selected.
